Booking Conditions for Tours and Holidays in Portugal

Please read the below terms and conditions carefully before booking your Tours and Walking and Cycling Holidays in Portugal. These conditions, along with any other information given to you at the time of booking, set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and TRANSGUADIANA.

All bookings with TRANSGUADIANA are made subject to these Booking Conditions. When you pay your deposit you are making an offer to purchase our services or holidays, which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Payment of your deposit does not constitute our acceptance of your offer and your deposit will be refunded in full if your offer is refused. We require a 30% deposit when you book one of our Holidays, and payment of the full price when you book one of our Tours.

Once your holiday or tour in Portugal has been confirmed we will accept responsibility for it in accordance with these conditions as an “Organiser” under the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours with certificate RNAVT 6232 from Turismo de Portugal.
When you make a booking with us you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Portuguese Law, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese Courts.

All prices and payments shall be processed in Euros (EUR). If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we will send you a written reminder. If you do not pay all payments due in full within 7 days of receiving this reminder, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. In this case the cancellation charges set out below will be payable.

If any member of your party is prevented from travelling, that person(s) may transfer their place to someone else (introduced by you and satisfying all conditions applicable to the arrangements) providing we are notified not less than two weeks before departure and you pay an amendment fee of 30 euros and meet all costs and charges incurred by us and/or incurred or imposed by any of our suppliers. If you are unable to find a replacement and can no longer commit to the booking, cancellation charges as set out below will apply. Otherwise, no refund will be given for passengers not travelling or for unused services.

A change of holiday dates will normally be treated as a cancellation of the original booking in which case cancellation charges will apply. Changes and rebooking may result in the recalculation of the holiday price where, for example, the basis on which the price of the original holiday was calculated has changed.

Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your chosen tour or holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us either by post, or email. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when it is received by us and we have confirmed such receipt.
